As with any such program, it all starts with you, the members, being willing to get involved. That can be as simple as an introduction, or a phone tip about a contractor, or more directly, such as job actions, picket lines, etc.

If you know of someone we should speak to regarding organizing their workplace, call me or e-mail me at the numbers provided here on this site. Certain degrees of participation will earn different rewards, such as the Volunteer Organizer’s shirt, and they will only be available this way.

Recent members receiving their award shirts were : Brothers Jerome Sinard, Mark Dodge, Robert Bamford, and Joe Guyett. Most of them brought a tip about a company we ultimately signed up. So, lets make this something we can all take part in, and help to advance the ideals of Local 545, and the Labor movement as well.
